For some time, I've been ignoring books, not electronic e-books, but paper ones. Maybe it is just like movies, that I've seen so many they are not interesting anymore. Thanks to the gods 1421 and 1434 are fascinating books about world history and how to question the status of things as we know them.
One thing that greatly puzzled me when writing 1421 was the lack of curiosity among many professional historians.
